Who This Is For

Readers Who Train

Whimsy Forge builds fitness programs inspired by fantasy novels — the books you already love turned into real training you can follow. If you’ve ever wanted to move like an assassin, train like a dragon rider, or find your strength through a moon-guided practice, this is for you. No experience required. Just pick a path and start.

Your Journey

How It Works

01

Pick Your Path

Choose Dragon Rider, Lunar Acolyte, or Shadow Assassin — that’s your guild for the challenge. Premium members can train all three, but you still pick one to compete with.

02

Join Your Guild

Your path is your guild — hundreds of members training together, competing for points, and showing up every day. Want more connection? Join a Squad: a small group of 6–8 guildmates who check in daily and hold each other accountable. Squads are optional, but members who join one almost always finish.

03

Train for 8 Weeks

Follow-along video workouts on your schedule. 10–30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. Every program scales from beginner to advanced — start where you are and build from there. No gym, no equipment list a mile long, no wondering “can I keep up?” You can.

04

Compete & Win

Earn points through daily check-ins and bonus missions. Guilds compete for prizes, bragging rights, and the title of champion guild.

What's Included

Everything you get when you join the Trial of the Guilds.
Choose from Dragon Rider (strength & endurance), Lunar Rise (mobility, yoga & flow), or Assassin’s Ascent (power, speed & conditioning). Each is an 8-week program with progressive phases, follow-along videos, and scaling difficulty. Premium members get all three.
Each path is a guild. Earn points for your guild through daily check-ins and bonus missions. Top contributors win real weapons (sword, staff, daggers). The winning guild gets exclusive merch and bragging rights.
Small groups of 6–8 people within your guild who check in with each other daily. The guild is the big identity — the small group is what keeps you showing up.
Join the Trial of the Guilds space with daily scoreboards, guild chat, mission announcements, and weekly standings. Cross-guild visibility drives competitive energy.
Four missions across 8 weeks: photo/outfit challenge, mental toughness journaling, physical endurance mini-challenge, and a creative/community mission. Each earns bonus points for your guild.
Sword training combos in Dragon Rider. Staff drills and inversion progressions in Lunar Rise. Dagger-inspired agility work in Assassin’s Ascent. This isn’t your average workout program — it’s serious training wrapped in adventure.

Frequently Asked Questions

No! You only need one path. Pick the one that matches your style — or take the Guild Quiz and let it choose for you. Premium members get all three, but you can compete with just one.
Every program scales to your level — with built-in modifications and progressions so you start where you are. The daily check-in bar is intentionally low — "Did my workout today" or even "Rest day but stretched for 20 min" counts. This is about showing up, not performing.
Each path is a guild. Earn 1 point per day for your guild by posting a check-in. Bonus missions earn extra points. All scoring is per-capita (total points ÷ guild size) so every guild has a fair shot regardless of size.
Top contributor per guild wins a real weapon (sword, staff, or daggers). Winning guild members get exclusive merch and bragging rights. Random draws for gift cards. Plus permanent badges on your profile.
March 23, 2026. The challenge runs for 8 weeks through May 22. You can join late — the content is on-demand, so you can catch up. But the earlier you join, the more points you earn for your guild.
Dragon Rider: yoga mat, optionally a pull-up bar. Lunar Rise: yoga mat, resistance bands, yoga blocks, bo staff. Assassin’s Ascent: yoga mat, resistance bands. Everything is home-based — no gym required.
Yes. It’s an opt-in, honor system. Leave one guild, join another. Per-capita scoring means switching doesn’t break anything. But your guild might miss you!
The $97 one-time gives you lifetime access to one training program. Premium ($20/mo, billed quarterly) gives you all three programs plus the Fantasy Gown Course, 40+ tutorials, and full community access. Dragon Rider ($97) + Lunar Rise ($97) + Assassin’s Ascent ($97) = $291 separately, or $20/mo for everything.
